MB&F International warranty (except U.S.A.)

All MB&F watches have a serial number engraved on the back of the watch-case.

International warranty of which extents and limitations are defined below.

Warranty extent and limitations

The manufacturer’s warranty is only valid when the MB&F product has been purchased through an official MB&F retailer.

In addition, all maintenance and repairs must be carried out exclusively by an official MB&F retailer.
This warranty is only valid if the warranty page at the end of this booklet has been duly completed and signed by the official MB&F retailer from whom the watch has been purchased. In particular, the date of purchase and the serial number of the watch shall be mentioned on the warranty card.

This warranty booklet must always be added to your watch when a servicing under warranty is requested. If these conditions are not all met, the manufacturer’s warranty is void.

Should your watch need servicing, please send it to one of the official MB&F retailers listed on the Internet website www.mbandf.com.

Your MB&F watch is guaranteed, except for the leather strap, against all manufacturing defects for a period of two years from the date of its original purchase.

Any damage resulting from negligence or inappropriate treatment of the watch (for example violent shocks, excessive temperatures or powerful magnetic fields), and damages resulting from accident, fire or natural disaster are not covered by this warranty.

Your watch is water-resistant, it may be used in the water. However, your watch is not designed for use when practicing sports such as diving, surfing, water-ski, wind-surf, etc. The water-resistance is guaranteed for a period of two years from the date of its original purchase, provided that the glass, the bezel, the case-back and the crown have not been damaged and that the crown is always pushed back against the case.

After the warranty period, it is essential to have the seals replaced on a regular basis by an official MB&F retailer.

Applicable law and other rights

This limited warranty is governed by Swiss Law.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, to which supplementary legal rights can be added — only if special clauses of other national laws are provided — which vary from state to state, as per the enforced legislation on the purchase date of the watch.

Exclusion or limitation of other warranties

Implied warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability or of fitness for a particular purpose, imposed on the sale of your watch under state law, are limited to two years duration. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

No liability for consequential damages

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event and in no circumstances shall MB&F or its official MB&F retailers be liable to the purchaser or any other person for any special consequential or incidental damages (including, without limitation damages for loss of business profits or other pecuniary loss) whether arising out of breach of warranty, breach of contract or otherwise, even if MB&F has been advised of the possibility of such damages. In any case, MB&F’s or its official MB&F retailers’ liability shall, under any provision of this warranty or under any statutory provision, be limited to the purchase price of the watch. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above exclusion or limitation may not apply.
