Legacy Machine Sequential Flyback EVO
Overview
A new EVO edition in titanium with an aquamarine dial plate, now sporting flyback chronographs and a tilted dial for the time.
In 2026, the Flyback function finds its way into a new EVO edition: the LM Sequential Flyback EVO, in a grade 5 titanium case, with aquamarine dial plate. On the same occasion, it inherits another feature from the more classic LM Sequential edition: a tilted dial for the time, improving its legibility.
What's so special about this machine?
Multiple timing modes (including a flyback function), an ergonomic EVO case, and an impressive 621-component movement are all it takes to become the ideal time-measuring companion.

MULTIPLE TIMING MODES
The LM Sequential Flyback EVO movement incorporates two column-wheel chronographs and a revolutionary “Twinverter” binary switch, allowing multiple timing modes: independent timing, split-second, sequential (lap timer), a cumulative “chess match” mode and now a Flyback mode too – a combination never seen before in any previous wristwatch.

EVO FEATURES
The EVO treatment comprises a series of design and engineering upgrades applied to select Legacy Machine references, reshaping them into watches better suited for daily wear and a more dynamic lifestyle. Notable elements of the EVO lineup include 80-metre water resistance, a screw-down crown, an integrated rubber strap, and MB&F’s proprietary FlexRing shock-absorption system, positioned between the case and the movement to safeguard the mechanism during active use. To heighten durability and comfort, the models also incorporate advanced materials like zirconium and titanium.

FLYBACK MODE
If the original LM Sequential EVO wasn’t mind-blowing enough, there was another feature that Stephen and MB&F were keen to include: the flyback function. Stephen’s original prototype movement was actually designed with a flyback system and provisions for it were built into the LM Sequential EVO. After further developments, in 2026, the Flyback function finds its way into a new EVO edition: the LM Sequential Flyback EVO.

Inspiration
A few years ago, Maximilian Büsser said that MB&F would never make a chronograph like all the other chronographs out there. Those who spoke the language of MB&F always knew what this meant.
All good things come with time; but better things come with more time. In 2022, MB&F unveiled its Legacy Machine Sequential EVO, a twin chronograph that opened up a world of timing possibilities. This ground-breaking chronograph redefined the chronograph as we knew it, winning the hearts of collectors and the coveted GPHG ‘Aiguille d’Or’ award the same year.
In 2026, the flyback function has been added to this coveted companion, offering its wearer an additional timing mode to an already impressive engine.

The previous LM Sequential EVO
Discover the LM Sequential EVO, a new approach for an unparalleled time recorder.
The LM Sequential EVO, released in 2022, was MB&Fs’ first chronograph and 20th calibre; it featured significant technical innovations and an unprecedented combination of timing modes thanks to its “Twinverter” binary switch: independent timing, split-second, cumulative and lap-timer modes. It won that same year the GPHG ‘Aiguille d’Or’, the most coveted prize in watchmaking.
