Uncatchable x seconde/seconde/

‘Uncatchable’, a work by Philippe Lebru and Romaric André, humorously illustrates the impossibility of capturing time.

Uncatchable

Philippe Lebru & seconde/seconde's pendulum, transformed into a red and white target, remains intact despite the darts surrounding it, symbolising our futile efforts to control time.

Inspired by Philippe Lebru's LALA creation, the clock is a limited edition of 27 pieces, numbered pieces, designed and produced in the UTINAM workshops in Besançon.

When Philippe Lebru woke up Besançon, the sleepy watchmaking capital in the heart of the Jura mountains, in 1993, it was to play with and challenge the codes of traditional watchmaking in order to think and create a new way of conceiving and experiencing time.
